VAPES

I'm having an issue with my vape - what do I do?

My device is clogged

  • Ensure you store your device in an upright position to help avoid clogging.
  • Tips and tricks for clearing a clog:
  • Dry pull on the cart/pod without the battery. It may be more effective to gently warm the cart/pod with a hair dryer on low heat first, before attempting to dry pull. Be careful not to overheat the vape, though!
  • If the device/battery is button-operated, apply heat for a few seconds, then pull on the vape.
  • If your cartridge leaks into battery well due to a clog, use a cotton swab + rubbing alcohol to clear residue on the battery.

Air is flowing through, but my device isn’t responding

    • All-in-One
      • Ensure the device is fully charged before use.
      • If the device has been left upside down at any point, leave it right-side-up for at least 24 hours and then try again.
      • If the device has a push-button, ensure that the device is on.
    • Cart
      • Ensure battery is fully charged and on before use.
      • Ensure that cart is screwed on tightly/correctly to battery.
      • Try the cartridge on a different battery, if one is available.
    • Most batteries and All-in-One devices with buttons operate with the following inputs: 5 Clicks – Turn the device on/off. 3 Clicks – Change the voltage of the device. 2 Clicks – Preheat the device (many devices do not have a pre-heat function).

    Best practices

    • Never use your device while charging!
    • Always use the charger that came with the device, when available.
    • Keep pods/batteries/carts away from extreme heat (inside of a car, for instance), cold and humidity.
    • Store your cart upright in a backpack/purse to avoid clogging.
Can I use any cartridge with my battery?

Yes! Any 510 thread cartridge is compatible with your battery. Don’t tighten it too much, choose the right temperature, and make sure to store upright and in a cool, dry environment.

Can I refill my empty vape cartridge?

Whether you can refill your vape cartridge depends on its design. Many cartridges are intended for single use and are not designed to be refilled. Attempting to refill these can lead to leaks, clogs, and improper function. However, some cartridges are specifically sold as refillable.

If you have a refillable cartridge, you can typically unscrew the mouthpiece and carefully fill it with a compatible THC oil. Always ensure you are using the correct type of oil for your specific cartridge to prevent damage and ensure a good experience.

Refilling your own vape cartridges can come with its own risks, though. Even the best cartridges will eventually clog and/or develop an off flavor.

How do I store my cartridges properly?

To maintain the quality and longevity of your THC cartridges, proper storage is key. We recommend storing them in a cool, dark, and dry place. It’s best to keep them in an upright position to prevent any potential leakage. Avoid exposing them to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures, such as the interior of a hot car, as heat can cause the vape to leak and may degrade the oil’s potency and flavor. A storage case or a designated drawer is an excellent way to keep your cartridges safe and effective.

It looks like there's still oil in my vape but it doesn't seem to be hitting.

If your vape pen isn’t producing vapor even though you can see oil, there are a few common reasons this might be happening. First, check to ensure your battery is fully charged and properly connected to the cartridge. Sometimes, a poor connection between the two can be the issue. It could also be a clog in the cartridge’s airway. You can often clear this by gently warming the cartridge with your hands or a hair dryer on a low setting, followed by a few gentle pulls without activating the battery. Lastly, it may appear like there’s more oil left in the vape than there actually is. If oil is visible in the bottom of the cartridge, but it’s not covering the small holes in the center post of the vape, then that is just a minuscule amount of residual oil that can’t make it into the atomizer.

    Flower

Why does my cannabis look different from one bud to the next?

Just like everything else in nature, no two cannabis plants, or even two buds from the same plant, are identical. While we strive for consistency, slight variations in color and shape are a natural part of the growing process.

Every strain has a unique genetic blueprint. Many modern “dessert” or “candy” strains are bred to produce vibrant purples, deep blues, or bright oranges. However, these colors don’t always appear evenly across the entire plant.

Think of the plant like a tree: The top buds at the very peak of the stalk soak up the most intense light. This extra energy often triggers the plant to produce more colorful pigments (like anthocyanins).

    • Top Buds: Often darker, more purple, or more “frosted” due to direct light.
    • Lower Buds: Further down the stalk, where there is more shade, the plant focuses on chlorophyll production, leading to a more traditional green color.

    Pre-Rolls

How do I keep my pre-rolls from canoeing/burning unevenly?

If your pre-roll starts canoeing, just flip it so the slower-burning side is on top while you take a hit. Heat rises, so this little trick helps even things out and keeps your burn smooth.

Why do my pre-rolls vary slightly in size?

This can happen due to different flower strains having different densities. Strain size/structure varies from strain to strain.

Infused pre-rolls contain up to 30% cannabis concentrate, which is significantly more dense than flower. This is why infused pre-rolls are typically shorter than non-infused.

Should I squeeze the pre-roll to loosen the bud before lighting?

There is no need to loosen up the bud in our pre-rolls and blunts. We expertly pack them with consistent pressure to ensure a high-quality experience.

    Edibles

Where can I find nutritional information?

Scan the LucID QR Code located on the packaging. This will direct you to a custom web page that details all the information about the product such as descriptions, certificate of analysis with laboratory test results, and nutrition facts (for edibles).

How long will my gummies last (shelf life)?

All of the Good Day Farm/CODES gummies have a shelf life of 1 year from the date of production. That being said, gummies can dry out slightly over time, so the closer to their production date that you consume them, the fresher they will be.

Will my gummies melt if they get hot?

Our pectin blends will not! Because the majority of Good Day Farm/CODES gummies are made with pectin, they can withstand high temperatures without losing their shape.

What's the recommended dosage for edibles?

We recommend starting with a low dose and slowly increasing your dose until you find the dosage that works for you. Good Day Farm’s Blueberry Elderberry 20:1 gummies are a great starting point for anyone that is brand new to edibles. Additionally, many higher dose edibles are scored for easy and precise dosing.

Do my gummies have any artificial dyes in them?

They do not! All of Good Day Farm/CODES (pectin & gelatin blends) gummies  are colored with all natural coloring powders derived from fruits and vegetables.  It’s also important to note that you may see a slight variance in color.

What does it mean if my gummies say they are "NANO"?

Great question! NANO gummies are infused with nano emulsified cannabinoids that we prepare in house. The nano emulsification process prepares the cannabinoids into nano sized, water-soluble particles that are easily absorbed by the body. Because of this, our NANO gummies deliver the most rapid and complete cannabinoid absorption on the market.

    Concentrates

Why do my concentrates vary in color?

Full Spectrum concentrates carry the distinct characteristics of the strains that they’re extracted from. So, a plant that grows purple flowers will usually make a darker concentrate, for example. Typically, Live Concentrates will be lighter colored than Cured Concentrates.

Why is the consistency of my concentrates not always the same?

Variations in consistency can be the result of different production methods. One manufacturer may decide to make their concentrates as Diamonds and Sauce, while another may choose to work their concentrates into a Badder. The chemical makeup of a strain (the chemovar) can also play a role here, with certain strains performing better as one consistency or another.

How does dabbing differ from other consumption methods?

Dabbable concentrates typically go through minimal post-processing, so the terpenes and cannabinoids are largely preserved. They’re a great way for connoisseurs and experienced cannabis consumers to have a “true to plant” experience. Newer consumers should start slow, though, as dabs are typically very potent.

    What makes marijuana extracts "live"?

“Live” concentrates are made from cannabis flower that is frozen immediately after being harvested. This allows for the creation of concentrates that reflect the scent and cannabinoid profiles of the living flower.

How do I know if a concentrate is high quality?

A number of factors should be considered when assessing the quality of any cannabis product, and different consumers have different priorities. Terpene content, the presence of minor cannabinoids, scent, and even texture are all ways to assess concentrates. A good rule to follow until a consumer learns their own preferences is that the “nose knows”. Look for concentrates that have a strong, cannabis smell that appeals to you. This is typically a good indication that the strain that the concentrate is made from will have a positive effect for you. Artificially sweet or grassy smells may indicate that the concentrate is either old or has been made with terpene ingredients that don’t come from cannabis.

What is the difference between Resin & Rosin?

Resin products are made using an extraction solvent of some kind, typically hydrocarbons or CO2. Rosin products are made using a solventless extraction process, with the best being made with ice water.

What kind of solvents are used in the extraction process?

Various solvents can be used in extraction. Ethanol, hydrocarbon (butane, propane, etc.), and CO2 are the most common, but many more exist.

How do dabbing extracts work with my body?

The process of dabbing vaporizes cannabis concentrates quickly, and the vapor is inhaled. New, or sensitive consumers should start with a very small amount of concentrate as they become used to the process and more familiar with their tolerance.

How long do the effects of dabs last?

The length of the effect will depend on how much is consumed and the tolerance of the consumer. It’s best to wait for at least 15 minutes after consuming to feel the full effects of the dab and expect to be feeling them for several hours afterwards.

How should I store my concentrate?

For best results, store concentrates in a cool, dark environment. A refrigerator is perfect, but be sure to allow concentrate containers to come back to room temperature before opening them.
